Instrument
Rating - "Cleared for Approach"
Atlas Aviation offers an
instrument rating course. The instrument rating is the next level of
training after learning to fly. Instrument pilots learn to control
the aircraft solely by reference to the aircraft's instruments, enabling
the ability to fly in more marginal
weather conditions.

Flight
training is completed in any of our instrument training fleet, including
our Cessna
Skyhawks
and Piper Archer. Our aircraft have a variety of equipment,
but all have color, IFR-certified GPS units and several have advanced avionics such as the
"glass cockpit" G-1000 suite. You'll
practice controlling the aircraft by instrument reference, navigating enroute
using navigation aids, and perform practice
approaches. |
